In your recipe for Basic Dog Treats; Basic Milk Bones, you have 1 cup cornmeal listed in the ingredients but in the directions it doesn’t state where or when to add the cornmeal. Please advise as this looks like an easy recipe to make. Thank you.

Sorry, it was supposed to read: “Add flour and corn meal, 1/2 cup at a time until both are added and well mixed. ” I have corrected the recipe for you so it should easy to follow. Thanks for pointing that out!

Does anybody know how to make dog confectionery? I want to make my dog some “Thornton” doggy friendly replicas however I can’t find a recipe of how to make dog suitable and style chocolates. My pooch is constantly at my side when eating confectionery and I think its only fair that my little chap has his own yummy and safe treats.
All replies will be greatly appreciated. Lois xx

What is the best to use to dip hard treats in for a frosting that hardens. Does carob chips harden?
June 24, 2011 at 1:28 pm
your liver treats call for garlic. Dogs should NOT have garlic.
July 20, 2011 at 11:44 am
Actually, garlic is okay in small quantities and is not considered harmful in that case.
